Yesterday, Kim Clock sent many close friends this email update.  I’d like to post it on Darrin’s website to share with everyone! Bill

Greetings to all and sorry it’s taken a while for me to write.  We were hoping 2008 would be a calm year, however that is not the case.  For some of you a lot of this may be repeat, for others please forgive us for not returning phone calls and for the rest here’s all the news up to 20 March.  We will start with the good news. Katee had a PET scan last week it showed a touch of nuemonia in one of her lungs but there was no sign of cancer.  You can only imagine how thankful we are.  The past 7 months have been so hard on her, she has started a new job and is starting to  feel like her old self.  We thank God for this answered prayer.
 
Now for Darrin, he had a tumor removed from his right lung dec,14, and it was sent away to see if there would be any meds that would have any effect on it.  What we found out was that the cancer is changing, our doc said it’s trying to survive.  He still has the original cancer that effects smooth muscle the two new ones. one  effects connective tissue and the other effects cartalige,  this was very discouraging.  then two weeks ago we found that the cancer has moved to D’s hip bone (he is currently going through radiation for this) and two muscles in his right butt, and it is in one muscle of his left butt.  D also has a new lump (large) below his right shoulder blade.  Then last night he started to have siegers.(SP)  Today after an MRI. We have learned that the cancer has moved to D brain.  I am not writing this to make you sad, but to remind you to pray.  We are very tired and needless to say sad.  Darrin will be undergoing a PET scan probably friday (21) and this will show if the cancer has moved anywhere else.  We have not heard what the plan of action is going to be, but when we know I will share it with you.  I’ve said it so many times, but please let me tell you again how thankful we are for all your prayers.  I’ll write when we have more news.
