Darrin Is Comfortable

We wanted to pass along another note from Kim.
Good morning,
Here’s a quick update. Hospice came in yesterday. We feel very comforted having them here. Darrin slept through the night, this was a blessing, monday night was very hard for him. He is very unsteady and has fallen a few times. You won’t believe it but he wants to do everything by himself:). Our biggest prayer is that he is comfortable. My biggest comfort is knowing how many people truly care for him and I rest in the knowing of his incredible love for God. I do not fear for Darrin’s future. All of you have to know how priviliged we have felt to have to walk these last few years with us and I ask that you continue a little longer. When they listened to his lungs yesterday, they heard crackling in his left lung and the right have air sounds only at the very top. We do not stop believe God could give us a miracle or that Darrin could fight this through. What I do know is that Darrin tells me that he is deep down tired. I will let you know as things progress. as for now family continues to arrive to hold each other up. Thank you again for love and support.

Kim and Katee, I am sooooo sorry for your loss and I know Katee you still have a struggle to go. I have lost numerous people in my life and what I can grant you is prayers; and a note for you to be gentle with yourselves over this next year and 18 months. Somehow it becomes a bit easier after 18 months… Please feel free to contact me at jzbean1@yahoo.com if you just want to vent. Otherwise know that there are many people praying for you and knowing you have some time to recover from just a lot of rough times… but you will recover.
